Active adapter that bridges the iPod's IDE interface to a CompactFlash card with proper UDMA timing, instead of the passive pin-through adapters that fall over on modern cards. CF socket on the back of the board, stock drive bay fit. Use a CF card, or a CF-to-SD adapter: adapters seem to work, but they must be Type I (3.3 mm thick). The common 5 mm Type II adapters do not fit. Includes the bridge board only. Card and adapter not included. Rendered image; production boards may vary slightly.
